About the Founder

Amánda Argot Efthimiou is a mental health advocate, speaker, & psychedelic integration educator. She has more than a decade of experience supporting leaders and creators that intersect health, art, science, and impact industries. She consults leading mental wellbeing and alternative healthcare companies, including Headspace, the world's largest meditation app with more than 70 million users, and Woven Science, an ecosystem of companies that creates and supports early-stage psychedelic and wellness companies in the US, Canada, and Europe. She’s taken the stage to talk about integrating psychedelic-insights at numerous experiential gatherings and corporate events, such as TEDx Berlin, YPO, The House of Beautiful Business, Sandbox, & Yale University, among others.

Committed to her values of integrity and reciprocity, Amánda also actively supports indigenous land sovereignty and ecosystems preservation. She was previously a Director for El Puente Foundation, which bridges indigenous wisdom traditions with contemporary applications of psychedelic medicine. Her work with El Puente made grants into indigenous owned projects un Brazil that promote biocultural preservation of ethnobotanical legacies and ecological restoration of endangered ecosystems.

Amánda received her MSc from King’s College, London’s Psychology & Neuroscience of Mental Health program where she focused on the mental health outcomes of psilocybin used together with psychotherapy.

Amánda is based in Lisbon and New York City and works globally. Raised in New York with Brazilian and Greek roots, she speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and French languages in addition to English.
